The Open Water Diver certification is the first level that allows you to dive without the requirement of a professional Scuba Diver (although Bluforia recommends always diving with a buddy).

The course includes 5 theory modules to learn the principles, risks, and effects of pressure on the human body underwater, as well as at least 6 dives where you will gain confidence in underwater breathing, buoyancy control, and learn how to manage any issues that may arise underwater. The Open Water Diver certification enables you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (12 meters for children aged 10 to 14).

The selected spots for this course will take you to explore some of the most stunning areas of Ogliastra, among colorful fish, corals, and rock formations shaped over centuries by marine currents.
